Karen offered to take a kid the first week of August. Sweet!! Carson is always ready to go, so he got some solo time, which he loves. They brought us up the stuff on Sunday and took Carson home with them. They headed to the coast on Thursday and came home Saturday am. I love these first 2 shots of the gparents with Carson!
Carson loves to help outside - he helped Mimi clean the creek.
I thought this was a pretty picture - It is looking down on the Rogue River. They went on a Monday night jet boat excursion!
They met one of Karen's friends, who has a grandson the same age as Carson, at the park for some lunch and playtime!
Grandpa thought the playtime sounded fun, too!!
Lu and Karen have this Thomas bike for Carson, which he loves and really started doing well at. (This is the 1st time our kids have been on bikes, as our street is so busy, so this is fabulous!) He earned money while he was staying with them, with the goal of buying a "dinger bell" for his bike. This is him helping Grandpa and Uncle Don put it on. It is hilarious! He LOVES dinging his bell!! Now he wants a water bottle and helmet, so that is what he is working toward.

Thank you, thank you for watching our boy! What a very perfect week. It was so wonderful for me to be able to get stuff done and for Carson to get so much love and attention.
