We enjoyed a special visit from Lu, Karen, and Uncle Mike last Saturday. Mike flew to Medford for a few days, and they all drove up for the day on Saturday. Before they arrived, Mitch met them for some coffee and some time to talk, just the four of them. The kids were getting so anxious to see everyone, so they were very happy when they all arrived :) We played some at the play area in the mall. The kids thought it was pretty cool having both daddy and Uncle Mike! One time Mitch and Mike were standing side by side. When I set Paislee down to go get dad, she ran to Mike, looked up for a sec and then saw Mitch and went to him. Thanks for making the trip up to see us!
I think the most classic line of the day was stated by Carson, who informed us "I am taking whistling lessons!" Mike was telling us about the girls, esp Audrey, enjoying gymnastics, and that swimming lessons would be starting soon. After this, Carson tells him that he is taking whistling lessons :) We busted up! When asked who was teaching him, he simply said "mom!" Then he proceeded to whistle for us! Oh my...where do these kids come up with these things :)
