ELMO Cake!!

This cake is courtesy of my hubby! He is good, huh!

Cars is totally into Elmo (and Mr. Noodle) right now, so we thought it appropriate to do an Elmo cake for him. We have been talking about it for a few weeks and he has been getting excited for his "Elmo cake". Then if we asked about it, he would say "no, my cake", "my elmo cake" :) Mitch finished it when Cars was in bed so we were anxious to see what he would do when he saw it.

He went right for it and was ready to start eating it!

This is the moment he had been waiting for!! I really wasn't going to let him dive into the cake, but he did as soon as it was set in front of him, so we just let him enjoy it!

Everyone kept asking him if he was going to blow out his candles on the cake, so we decided a few days before his birthday that we had better explain this to him - we had just spent all our time talking about the cake - he did pretty well. He is still going for the cake here - forget about the candle!

Great - grandpa isn't quite as sure as the rest ...

but, he still goes for it :)
