We went to our favorite Creswell, 4th of July Parade in the morning. We always have so much fun! We were walking to find a spot when the fighter jets flew over. This is my favorite part! After the fly-over, lots of different airplanes fly over, and everyone cheers. I love it! Then the parade gets going! It is fun to watch the kids progress each year. Carson has been rather scared (of lots of things), but especially sirens, since the accident in our wall. This was perfect, as there were sirens right by us, and candy came from the trucks. He got really brave and realized they were safe and stood by himself, or with Aust, to get the candy.

Dad got us some pop to have during the parade! We all enjoyed it!
Paislee showing daddy something :)
As always, Paislee was right in the action!
Carson getting the candy! Austynn got some, too, but she pretty much just ate what Carson picked up! Carson kept asking me if we were saving the candy, as Austynn was eating it :) Carson doesn't even really like it, but he enjoyed getting it (and wanted to save it)!
What little sweeties :)
I couldn't handle how long Carson's hair was, so after his nap, I gave him a little hair cut! Here we are - all loaded up and heading to Sweet Home for the evening!
We had an empty Coke bottle in the car, so I grabbed it and conked Mitch on the head with it. The kids thought it was HILARIOUS, so this continued for awhile. They all got their heads conked, too! This is them laughing after I got dad!
The area between Eugene and Sweet Home, and driving to Sweet Home off of I-5, is so pretty! I love the way it looks and smells.
We went to A&W as soon as we arrived, as it was nearing 7:00p and we were getting hungry!
The boys picking out what we are going to have for dinner!
It took awhile to get our food, so we took the kids outside to RUN!
Look at all that "All-American Food"!! Yummmmmy!
:) All full up!
We were originally thinking there were fireworks in Sweet Home, over Foster Lake, but there weren't, so we were going to go watch them in Corvallis. It was after 9:30pm and we realized there were some fireworks that were going to happen in Lebanon, so we just decided to stop and watch them there.
Mitch told the kids they could have dessert when we watched the fireworks, so we got MORE ice cream. Like we needed that! Oh, but it was good ;)
And the babes on the way home! This is the first year we have kept the kids up to watch any fireworks. It was pretty fun. We got home after 11:30pm. Carson started swimming lessons the next morning!
