Carson Paul had a birthday yesterday! He was really excited for his birthday this year, which has been cute! He is still greatly anticipating his party on Saturday!
Carson loves grandpa's pancakes! So grandpa asked Carson if he wanted to come over for a pancake breakfast on his birthday! Gram and Gramps had a gift for him to open first thing!

It is a clock that shows when it is night time and when it is time to get up. It has a cute little bunny rabbit either up playing or in bed asleep. It is pretty cute. Now, if he would just follow his little bunny friend's lead :)
Grandma made Carson a "C" pancake and put a candle in it. Austy got an "A" and she had to try out the candle, too!
Yum! Pancakes, eggs, bacon, and OJ! Thanks!!
Pais was hamming it up!
After breakfast and some play time at g/g's we went home and made cupcakes. Then the kids went down for some much needed naps :) Carson woke up first, which was great, and helped me get the cupcakes all frosted. I frosted, per his request, and he did the sprinkles. He did so good on them and just put a few on at a time. I helped him some at the end. He wanted his "4" candle to go on that specific cupcake!
Mitch got off work early and had the fun idea of taking the kids to Chuck E Cheese. We hadn't ever done this, and it turned out to be a lot of fun! We got a bunch of tokens and played a ton of games!
This Bronco was one of the first rides. Carson was the first to get on and then we added Paislee with him. Didn't take too long and Carson wanted off, but Pais was LOVING it! It was great.
Go Paislee, Go Paislee, Go!
We had to keep an eye on her! She was climbing up and trying to get on the games by herself. What a riot!

Daddy was playing a Price is Right "Plunko" game and winning lots of tickets for the kids! :)
Looks like daddy was having fun, too!

Carson was pretty serious here. It was funny, he put a token in to see what the horse did before he got on it! He decided it was ok, and enjoyed it. It had a "jump" button and he did not want me to push it! :) He finally got brave and pushed it, but it didn't do much.
Chuck E (or Mickey Mouse, as Austynn would say) came to see us as we left. Carson was brave and got a picture by him. Pretty cute!
This pic is out the car window, but it shows that we went to Chipotle for a yummy dinner, per Carson's request - smart boy!
Yay! Cupcake time!! Carson is getting a good angle on this candle!
Paislee LOVED the cupcake - ate it all and had it ALL over! Will be fun to see her with her cake! This morning I let the kids have a cupcake after they ate their cereal. I wasn't intending on giving one to Pais, as she makes a huge mess with them, but she was not about to be left out! She was reaching and whining for one, so she got it and ate it all! The other kids just ate the frosting ;)
We got them a Wendy's m&m frosty to go with the cupcake - it is in the bowl!
You can see the cupcake on Paislee's sleeve. Stacey just posted some sleeping pics and I, too, think they are cute. We got home late this afternoon, so kids got down late. Pais dumped all of her stuff out of her crib and just kept crying. I finally thought that I better go check on her. I rocked her to sleep, so thought I would grab a quick picture. She is really starting to get attached to her blankie!
Happy 4th Birthday, Carson Paul! We love you.

Carson!! Happy 4th Bday!! Glad you had fun at Chuck E. Cheese! We'll have to go sometime when we are in Oregon. It is one of Audrey and Sophie's FAVORITE places to eat! Glad you had a fun day! Much love, Aunt Stace and the gang!
