May 13th - Today!

The kids were up good an early this morning, as they have been many mornings - got to love that sun! Since they enjoyed painting their toast earlier this week, we decided to do it again, with 3 colors this time :) Austy Pie looks like she is feeling so much better! Yay!!

 We often do crafts at the table! The big kids were doing this while we tried to get Paislee to nap. No such luck, so we decided to head out for a walk!

I have been driving to the bus stop where the Amazon path starts - the big kids and I walk, while I push Paislee. Gets us outside, their energy out, and I don't have to worry about walking on the busy streets. It has been great! The kids take this little side path to this "play" area while I push the stroller on the cement path, and then we meet up. Fun to watch them get older and be able to do this.

 

  We decided to walk down the bark path today - this path is for runners - it is nice bc no bikes to watch out for, but the bark gets in their shoes! Beautiful day, huh! We took full advantage of it, and will more later, as we are suppose to be in for lots of rain.

 Paislee was out by the end of the path :)

 We decided to go further than normal today - we walked about twice as far and made our one-way destination Starbucks! The kids did great!

 We stopped and played in the sand on the way there and on the way back! This is a sand volleyball court.

 We made it!

 Cars decided he would try - she wasn't sold.

 Now playing around the baseball field. They had so much sand in their shoes that we took them off and let them run in the grass to get rid of it.

 Paislee was loving this - she was pounding on the bench and laughing as it made noise - Austynn's shoe was her other big prize!

We enjoyed lots of flowers (the kids pick them every day and we store them under the stroller) and a heron (I am guessing). Their "firetruck" park is in the background.

All are soundly napping now! So nice to have the big kids walking so well and so much lighter just pushing Paislee!
