What a special trip Austynn got to make with Grandpa and Mimi to Texas! Thanks so much for taking her! This was Austynn's first airplane ride :) They flew out of Eugene to Denver. Lu called me from Denver and was amused that Austynn jabbered the entire 2+ hour flight!! She is hilarious and will talk and talk when she has undivided attention :) Mimi was sweet and had a new backpack all packed for her with fun things to do! She was ready to go!!
They got into Houston late on Friday night, so they made it to Audrey and Sophie's on Saturday morning. Here is a picture of the girls when they first saw each other. Austynn brought little purses with some chapsticks for the girls (if Austynn has her purse, chapstick, cell phone and sunglasses she is set!). She is even sleeping with her purse - whatever, right! It is funny, though, when she wakes up in the night and asks "where's my purse?". I give it to her and she is good to go :) Last night it was, "where is my cell phone?" Oh my goodness! Girls and boys are different! Carson used to like to sleep with his cars!
The girls were SO sweet and had a princess dress all picked out and wrapped up for Austynn to wear to Audrey's princess party!! Thanks, sweet girls! Austynn loved it!
