Well, these shots are nothing fancy, I just got the camera out and took a few of the kids today ;) Before we had lunch and naps, the kids helped me prepare "Mitch's casserole" for dinner. These are the cute aprons Tim and Jackie got the kids for Christmas!
Carson loves making this recipe bc he gets to cut the mushrooms (with a butter knife)! He actually cut all but about 3 or 4 this time! Austy helped. They were cute and enjoyed helping! It makes them proud when dad comes home for dinner and they have helped!
In the bowl is the cornbread stuffing mixture that goes on top. The kids LOVED it! They were eating it by the spoonful. So, we doubled that portion of the recipe! I had a mess all over the counter, floor, chairs, hands and feet! Thankfully messes are easily cleaned :)
Here is our final product - this picture is so appetizing, I know (ha!)
After naps we went out to check our garden! We all got 3-4 cherry tomatoes - YAY!!! We have sooooo many tomatoes growing and green. I am very, very hopeful that they will turn red for us all!
Anyway, I had P in the front pack and put a hat on her. The kids wanted hats, too, so I put their railroad hats on them :) This is Aust in the backyard, eating a pepper and wearing her hat ;)
I didn't manage any of Paislee - oops! She is laying beside me now, watching her Baby Einstein star light up :) Mitch has the kids outside and is playing with them. Mom loves that! It wears the kids out, too, and they zonk when they are put in bed - we all love that!
