Happy Birthday to Mitchell!

Mitch turned 31 on Tuesday. It happened to be the day we headed home from our Fransen party in Medford. We stopped in Roseburg for some lunch and then found a park for the kids to play at. We then stopped here, at the dam on the Umpqua River, where you can see "big fish"! Here is the b-day boy and his 2 kids w the dam in the background.
I love how Austynn puts her shades on herself!
The Mitch Fransen ladies :)
One window had some really large fish, but there were 3 older gentlemen there who would not move for the kids - thankfully they plowed their way in to see them!
We actually had a really fun ride home! Mitch started something that will probably never stop between the kids and I! We tried to make the semi's honk at us. It was such a riot!! The first 3 we tried all gave us good honks and then we couldn't get one to honk for the life of us! The trucks really couldn't see the kids, but I had my arm out the window trying to get them to honk ;) It was pretty fun! The kids LOVED it!!!
Here is Cars in his seat, starting his "honking" motion. He would tell his dad that he was ready to get started as soon as he saw a truck...way ahead of us! So, Mitch would roll the windows and the honking motion would begin :)
You can see Austynn's little fist - she was "honking", too! Complete w her "doll-doll" and "pac-fi"
We got a cake mix on our way home - we made cupcakes while Mitch unloaded the car :)
Cars got the beater!
This is the next morning (Wed) - we went out to our garden to pick some cilantro - our first garden pick! It is growing wonderfully - yay!!
My Austynn girl!
Since Carson had swimming lessons Tuesday night (Mitch's bday) and the kids barely napped, we didn't get to the cupcakes until Wed! We also made daddy a big card!
Nice work!
Here are the kiddos - we headed out for our evening walk right when daddy got home, so the kids were in the stroller when they showed Mitch his card :)
After dinner and our walk, we did the cupcakes! Austynn and Carson wanted to blow the candle out, too!
Happy Birthday honey!
