Before school started...
Carson and Austynn started one more session of lessons - still one week to go. This is Cars - his teacher is so great right now - makes such a difference!
We walked to lessons and played at the park on our way home.
I was very anti-gym and anti-routine for about a month before the start of school. I got a lot accomplished at home, as the kids played together so well! They had all kinds of crazy outfits and made wild things, but they were content and that is all that matters!
We met daddy at his work for a BBQ his work put on. They had bounce houses, shaved ice, burgers, clown, face painting. It was nice! We are waiting for daddy to meet us in this pic :) The grass felt so good.
Last weekend the kids tried their hand at a lemonade and cookie stand. Not overly profitable, but fun! The kids made a little money, thanks to grandpa and grandma coming over ;) It was fun to meet a few new people that stopped by.
Here are the girls on our walk this week. The girls are now totally into school, too. We got them lunch boxes, and I pack their lunch every day, as I do Carson's. Austynn is funny - she has told us soooo many times - mom/dad, there are lots of kids at school that are smaller than me! She is ready. Today she told me that she hadn't written her letters yet :) I am teaching her the curriculum I taught Carson last year. I was happy to hear her say that she wanted to write today! (maybe she can do a little pre-k next year :)- ??)
Here are the kiddos on Thursday, waiting for the teacher and getting wet. I just let P go for it and get wet, too. Wish they could start lessons at 2 and not 3!

Great post, lots of fun, and great swimmers!! Love that Pais had her feet/body in, too! Awesome! Love, Stace
