Christmas tree fun!

We made it home in time to have Sunday be our "Christmas" day. We had so much fun as a family!! Carson got this Christmas book from Mimi and Grandpa and saw the cookies in it, so he REALLY wanted to make cookies (plus it is one of his favorite things to do!). So, after their naps, we made sugar cookie dough. We put it in our refrigerator to chill while we went and got a tree.

On our way to get the tree we stopped to get some cookie cutters and Mitch (yes, Mitch's idea!!) thought it would be fun to get a latte. They had cider, so I got the kids some cold cider to share...oh, and some m&ms!

We had our coffees, camera, stroller and Cars running around ... trying to get a tree ... sure! The camera wasn't out too long :) This is the lot where we got our tree last year and we really liked it.

Agghhh - love my fam! Love how cute Mitch is in this picture. And can you see that Cars is holding his own "Christmas tree" :) Oh, he paid for the tree, so she gave him a little one of his own.

I got the lights on the tree - Mitch continued to frost cookies - and we watched football :) (Dennis Dixon - UO's old QB - was starting for the Steeler's - he did pretty good!)

The kids helped me decorate the tree yesterday. Notice all the ornaments are on the top 1/2 of the tree!
