We headed to Prineville on Tuesday after dad called to invite the kids and I, and Mitch said he could catch up on some work while we were gone (we got the good end of the deal). We didn't get there until about 9pm, as we all needed naps before I had the energy to pack stuff up. Wednesday was great - we didn't do anything but enjoy the day and play outside. It felt so nice!! We had blue sky all day and warm temperatures - agghhh! Thursday us girls headed to Bend. Mom and I shopped a bit - not a super easy task w kiddos. I love Rue 21 and there isn't one here. Tim, Jackie, Ryan, and Ashley joined us for dinner in the evening. The kids enjoyed playing with all of them! After a morning of play on Friday, we headed out for home - stopping in Sister's for some ice cream w Uncle Timmy! Daddy was happy to have his family back on Friday, and we enjoyed a nice weekend together (complete w picking 14 gallons of blueberries on Saturday!!).
Carson, you spent hours down at the creek w Papa and just absolutely loved it! Very much in your element!
You found a crawdad leg and a dead, stinky one!
Cars, you enjoyed the flat ground to learn how to balance on the scooter! You were very much into it! You also road your bike without training wheels! However, you were not so much into this, though, I really wanted you to take advantage of the flat surface :)
