Well, we had a rainy Labor day weekend (Sat and Sun, anyways), so we headed up to the cabin to visit grandpa and grandma, and see nana, on Sunday. This was Austynn's first "official" trip to the cabin :) We had our favorite broasted chicken and jo-jo's and enjoyed the 50 degree!!! weather and occasional bouts of rain - this was a true Oregon day.

Nana and Carson playing by the lake
Learning to throw rocks into the water
Watch out! Gramps is NOT to be out done on the rock throwing!
Mitch got this shot of our weather
This is our first 4 generation picture with Austynn
Mickel-Miner-Fransen ladies
Just hanging out w great gram and gramps :)
Nana w her babes - notice that Carson would not use any black pegs - only red ones!
This is Carson out helping Mitch in the front yard a few weeks back (Mitch now has it nearly all leveled and is getting close to planing grass - yeah!)
Carson was taking his shoveling job pretty seriously!

Cars LOVES working with Mitch and Mitch is so good to show him how to do whatever he is doing. Just scary having him out front w the busy street.

Here is Carson's money!! This is what he put in his pocket and paid for our dinner with on our date :) We went to probably a little too fancy of a place, but it was very fun! We enjoyed the bread and oil/balsamic vinegar and salad and brought the entree home to dad (it was time to go by that point :)). Then we were going to go to the park - I had Cars in his car seat and he saw the ice cream that people had and he wanted some. (we had already decided to get ice cream after the park, but not once he saw it - my kind of kid!) we tried a new, local place that makes their own ice cream. It was fabulous and we both enjoyed! Then we went to the park and he ran and played. Pretty neat time!
