March

Mitch started March off with working on a spot for our garden!
While he did that, I spent what seemed like countless hours trying to learn how to teach the kids our spelling program - SWR.

It is so cool to see the birds in our trees when the leaves are gone!
Carson and Austynn, you had your first day of soccer practice today!

Girls, we painted your nails while watching Carson's practice :)
Here you are after your game, with our friend's the Nuefield's.

Oh, man, I have so much trouble being stuck in the house for school when it is so lovely outside! During the winter our backyard doesn't get a ton of sun, so we take school out front!

Aust, you do such nice work and often bring it to me to take a picture of you with it :) Of course we have to send it to daddy!

Carson and Austynn you made Paislee multiple birthday cards all month long! You were both so excited about her birthday. These cards and money were given to her in the middle of March! :)

Not sure how we managed to get all the plants into our car?!
The homeschool kids all gathered at Miss Kristy's house for a time to recite memorization in front of others.
 Mary Poppins! You loved it!

Dad had a meeting in Las Vegas, so we got to go with him. A definite perk to home schooling is flexibility! We went to this park while he was in the meeting. When he was done, we headed to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. We are so enjoying all the new found beauty this area provides!

Austynn, Mrs. Callahan's class sent you a Flat Stanley. You took pictures of it in many different places and sent it back to your class :)

 Cute new hair cuts!

How cool!! Grandpa and Grandma drove all the to Mesquite to spend some precious time with us! We met them at Peggy Sue's for lunch. What a memorable time we shared together!

After the Saturday morning soccer games, we headed to check out Zion National Park (we LOVED it!). We also hit Bryce Canyon, which was spectacular, as well.

Carson you lost a tooth at our ice cream stop in Zion!

We saw dear, big horned sheep, and buffalo!

 Brownies after church!

Carson, you and Grandpa spent about an hour reading through science books, while the girls napped.
We watched a 3D movie that night :)
