One Wild December!

What a month! So many new and exciting things happened, but it was quite the ride.

These pictures are to show just how gross our time in our apartment were! Mitch took the kids down to Medford to see Mimi while I went through the apt, preparing for the movers to come. This is all garbage! AMAZING what can accumulate in just a few months!

Breakfast with Gram and Gramps before we head out! GG are the one thing we miss about Eugene!
Car heads out, truck being loaded, and Mitch is taking me to pick girls up from GGs and to the airport! Carson stayed with Mimi when Mitch took them down. He and Mitch will join us a couple weeks later.

Girls, our plane out of Eugene to SLC was delayed, so we missed our original flight to St. George. This gave us a few hour layover in SLC. Turned out to be a fun time, filled with many great memories!
Amazingly, we encountered snow when we arrived in St. George. The road to Mesquite was packed w snow most of the way and it was snowing when we got there!
The first morning at our rental and our first day in Mesquite. Had to check out our soon to be home, get some groceries, and sign the papers on our house.

Our 1st time at Marilyn Park

One of our neighbors surprised us and paid to have our yard cleaned up! It was a mess before with leaves everywhere!! Such a kind gesture!
Carson went to school and enjoyed his special time in Medford with Mimi! He got lots and lots of snow to play in, as well!!

Yay!! Carsie boy, dad, and the dogs all arrived safely! Better get that carpet torn out!

Austy Pie, this is the first time you did your own hair!! Beautiful!

We discovered we have parachuters that land behind us. That was a cool first!
First hike out in the desert! We are having fun exploring our new terrain!

Kids, you did very well while I painted! You even did some school work and journaling most days.

Dad's hospital - Mesa View Regional Hospital

Floor installation begins! Finished the job on Christmas Eve. Left a mess :( Christmas day was spent cleaning the floors.

 External house colors
Amazingly, Santa did come to our new home! Christmas Eve was the first night we slept in our new house. No pillows or blankets! We returned our rental van Christmas Eve, ate at Taco Time, got to our home late, and then prepared Christmas for the kids :)-

 Enjoying the Nevada sun begins!!

Love this one - P is all wrapped around C and the dogs are cuddled with A :)

Another first - realizing the sunsets are amazing!

Yay! Mimi comes for a visit! Our first company. The house was a disaster and nothing unpacked. Mimi worked and unpacked, cleaned, organized the kitchen!!

 We have a bed!
